More than 3 resets in a period will result in a pass to the buddy-room.
What is a reset?
This is a quick and quiet reminder that the student is off task. Resets happen in the room, and the student is to remain in their seat. A reset should be no more than 60 seconds. It is not a punishment, but a way to help students get back on the IB track! When the student completes the reset, s/he is welcomed back and given a “clean slate.”

Level 2 - Buddy Room
If a student continues to engage in the above actions, then send them to a Buddy Room for not more than 15 minutes where they will complete a writing assignment from the Buddy Room folder. Assignment is returned to the issuing teacher.
